I tired flashing new firmware and just get LED1 and 3.3V LEDs. I reformated SD and copied firmware and config back on and same thing when I plug USB in. Cane someone help?

The file renames to firmware.cur but smoothieware doesn’t start and USB is not recongnized
Make sure you saved the actual .bin file and not the html page containing it. Your .bin file should be bigger than 300kb.
OK thanks, that was it. Is it necessary to put load the most recent config - i’m using a delta. It doesn’t look like there is any differences with the setting I use
You probably want to use the latest config example as the base for your config yes.
