So after tinkering with the printrbot original I just finished I’ve been having a hard time homing the printer. In theory the printer should work because the printrboard we used was from my printrbot plus, which has the same endstop config. Right out the gate I got the x axis and extruder working. The y and z I’m still having trouble homing. The y moves jerky about 10mm at a time until it hits the end stop and just keeps going. I’ve checked the end stop and it seems to work. The z axis is slightly different it goes up while trying to home and half the time doesn’t move at all but rather grinds. The z axis motor is not reversed either it moves up when click raise. By now your probably saying “ohh this newby probably just has his home settings in repetier wrong” I seem to have correct home settings and I just don’t know why it doesn’t work. Please help.

Check the pots? I’m actually working on my PB+ LC v1 right now and had a similar problem with the Z motors. Type m119 and see if the endstops are being triggered, especially your Y. Sounds like it’s triggered.

@Chris_Lau Thanks for the help it’s my 11 year old brother I’ve been helping with this printer. And I actually adjusted the posts after posting this. The problem was I told him to solder the end stop wires but he just heat shrinked them on so they weren’t recognized. With out you help I probably would have spent another 10 hours working on this. This gives me hope in repraps and I hope to build many more.
