So enough was enough for me.

So enough was enough for me. For the longest time I had been using a single fan to cool my parts. But I was never able to do overhangs all that well. I got myself some 30mmx10mm blower style fans and man what a huge difference it makes! I also redisgned my popular phantom extruder to enable it to print flexible filaments. I just need to reprint one in black and take photos so i can upload the design to thingiverse.

Love the fans and your setup. Your exposed wire connection freaks me out a little bit though…

@Griffin_Paquette thats just 24V for the fans, you can touch it however you like…

@Raptor_Swire and short it ;D try touching it with you tongue xD

it’s not the volts that matter, it’s the amps that get you XD At some point I will get around to lengthening the wires and sleeving everything and making it look pretty.

@Blake_Dunham oh man hear this all the time. No without voltage there is no current. You can get a heartattack of 0.5mA btw.

Oh yes I’m not denying that. I’m just saying that you can have thousands of volts but if you have very little current, it wont kill you. Humans suck as conductors. Lucky us I guess. lol

From this angle the picture as a whole looks like a giant mech put monster. Kinda kool lolol of not totally off topic

I’m going to be releasing a new fan duct design that uses two of these little fans and incorporates the original fan included with all E3D hotends
