So, here’s my latest project - LED goggles, with animated eyebrows. It took some doing to get the LEDs to play nice with the servos, but I found the solution - I’m using the PWMServo library, which uses hardware to control the servos.

That looks great Noel! By the way, I’m relatively new to FastLED. In looking through some of the previous posts, I saw you made a reference to an “LED Patterns Wiki” that you had created. That sounds like a great idea, but it doesn’t seem to be working. I’m guessing maybe the hosting company went bye-bye?

No, it got spammed all the way to hell and back, so I nuked it. I’ll redo it later, once I can solve that issue.

That’s too bad. Right now I’m trying to learn as much as I can about various methods/algorithms for creating patterns, so a site like that would be really helpful. Having said that, this G+ community is also quite valuable!

I agree, its a great library, and the strip is an amazing technology, but a site with some algorithms would be really nice.

I’ll see what I can do about rebuilding the wiki - preferably with more anti-spam security.
