So I have multiple arrays of LEDs running off multiple pins.

So I have multiple arrays of LEDs running off multiple pins. I’m trying to take many of the example codes and translate it to a version where multiple arrays would work. My original post is here:

Thanks to @marmil for helping me out and pointing me in the right direction. I’ve got 4 of the examples to work but I’m now trying to get the Fire2012 sketch to work but I’m having problems and I’m honestly at a loss on how to fix it. Here’s my sketch so far:

I would also like to light up all the strands in a single (random) color and “pulse” down a wave of light from the 0 pixel to the last one. I’m not sure if there’s a built-in function to do this or not. Again, any guidance will be appreciated!

Once I’ve got these two items nailed down, I’ll post a video of my creation

@JP_Roy made a great fire2012 lamp with separate strips.

Here’s a few other examples with separate strips.

And

Thank you! I learn a lot from seeing other people’s code.

Thanks @marmil , here’s a link to the short video I posted here showing my lamps…

WOOT! Thank you thank you thank you! I got it to work! I just needed a little guidance  Now, to do that “pulse” thing…

I’m doing a very similar thing right now using multiple neopixel rings of different sizes. Finding this thread just saved me sooooo much time!

@Tim_Lukasik I tried using the sketch you posted above (thanks a million), modified slightly and linked below, but it gives a weird result with my rings. When the "sinelon’ pattern starts it doesn’t get displayed on the first ring. Does this happen to you? Any idea how I might have messed up your code? http://pastebin.com/Q73imEdJ
