So I installed an induction probe on my @Printrbot Simple (1312 maker model modified with belts and all).

Probing works but It seems like the autoleveling is reversed… By that the Z axis moves the tip closer to the bed when it should move away from it and moves the tip away from the bed when it should bring it closer…

Anyone had this issue ?

I am not sure if that’s the case, but since I had a similar problem with the x and y axes on the same printer behaving similarly, have you tried reversing the cable adapter on the printrboard?

Well, the X and Y move in the right direction based on their respective homing point.

No, I meant reversing the probe’s cable (or the z axis’ cable - either one should do the job.)

Check your end stop for a loose connection.

I don’t think it’s a end stop issue. See the following video of the auto-leveling probing:

The result is a thin not sticking to plate 1st layer at the front (Y0) of the plate and a more squished (like we want) at the back of the plate (Y145):

Sorry misread the post thought it was homing issue not autolevel

Ok, so I recalibrated my probe a bit and compiled the bedlevel-v2 firmware with the ACCURATE_BED_LEVELING enabled and ACCURATE_BED_LEVELING_POINTS set to 4 which makes the firmware probe the bed at 16 points.

I am getting MUCH better result now. Still not 100% perfect and I think it is because my back of the plate is a bit too high compares to the front.
