Are you using black or white LLPD8806es?

I had to ask a coworker to confer, I think theyre actually gold PCB LLPD8806es. Curious.

Depends on the background lighting as well.

Try using a small hammer and tapping every few inches down the full length of your LED strip. It should slowly become less and less black and blue.

I think if you use black and blue and then view it through a camera phone with the exposure set all wrong you should be able to get the white and gold effect you are looking for
