So I printed the and having some issues with these lines.

So I printed the #3DBENCHY and having some issues with these lines. Does anybody know how to get rid of them. They are both printed with layer thickness of .2 mm the left one just a bit slower on my ultimaker 2

I had a similar problem on all my prints with 2 shells (0.8mm on a .4mm nozzle), so I increased it to 3 (1.2mm), and they went away. I think the plastic is expanding from the infill lines and pushing the shell there (they line up, I printed without a top once to check), and a thicker shell resists that better.

Thanks I’m gonna try it tomorrow.

Cura15?

Try printing 90° rotation, if possible in software print inner to outside shell!

Yes Cura 15.02.1. I can’t find an option to set for printing inside to outside

May be underextrusion.

How can I fix it?

See guides on calibrating extrusion:)
Also ensure you have atleast 1.2mm for shell thickness.

Sorry not possible with cura.Look here for ringing! http://support.3dverkstan.se/article/30-getting-better-prints

Thanks so far everybody

Discussion with Daid aka David Braam from Ultimaker.

Looks like ringing to me. How fast are you printing? Maybe try reducing acceleration and/or jerk settings?

The first was on 50mm/s and the second on 30mm/s print speed

Cura

Looks like the lines correspond to the infill. If so, try giving more perimeter lines. 2, 3 or 4 shell perimeters or 2mm shell perimeter.
