So I was at Barnes&Noble this morning and saw that Popular Science mag. has a big article on bio-3d printing this month.
I was wondering, with the boom in 3d printing, did they just start experimenting with bio-3d printing or was it going on for years and only now it’s being talked about?
So I went to the library today to read the article and it was a good one. In one of the captions it mentioned the RepRap that was used to print a sugar scaffold that was later dissolved to make vessels to feed the tissue around it.
