So, I was playing with print speeds and a plugin that adjusts the temperature based on the speed of the printing in Cura. 100mm/s print speed at 228-235C may actually be right with my black ABS. I basically doubled my speed. I need to test more though. I have to check my infill, my tiny print areas, bridging and such.
Marlin has a feature (disabled) by default that adjusts temp based on speed. Somewhere in configuration.advance
You can enable that feature @Tim_Rastall mentined in Marlin trough LCD if you have one. Think you have to have eprom enabled though. Tried it once, it works, but in my setup its too slow. I have changed recently all my speeds to the same number. This has improoved my prints by whole lot. It does the job a little slower, but the end result is way better. The key is in constant pressure in the extruder system.
Printers would be much better with a way to measure actual filament movement. They could adjust temperatures based on that.
