So, I’m finally moving towards a proper frame, one that doesn’t wabble all over the place and has a bigger volume in a smaller frame. The idea is to use all the rods and screw’s from the “parent”. The new frame just had some small metal pieces to be able to get an idea of the final build. End sensors supports are the only things I’ve not printed. I’ll just look for smaller motors.

Didn’t have extruded aluminium… Buuuut the connecting joints are bolted in 3 points

You should move your Z motors under the printer. Less weight on the top gives less vibration.

@Enrico_Colautti ​ yeah, the new frame is set up that way. I’m now making sure that I design my endstop holders properly, since I have optical ones.
