So im redoing my christmas snowflake properly this time with better wiring and a 3D printed enclosure. How would i be able to define an LED matrix using 4 data lines wired to irregular shapes?
What does one drive a normal square led matrix with? I mean is there software that you provide a fastled led array, tell it the layout left>right top to bottom and let software do the effects on the matrix.
I know adafruit has a library for displaying scrolling text like this.
