So I’m still trying to figure out the settings in the different slicing software and how they work. In CURA the skin thickness is best if set as a derivative of the nozzle diameter which in turn drives the number of perimeter passes…for example .4mm nozzle with a .8 skin thickness equals 2 perimeter passes, or at least that’s the way it was explained to me. So now I’m working in Kisslicer and my question is this. There are user adjustable settings for both skin thickness and number of perimeter passes, would I want to set these like in CURA - .4mm nozzle, 2 perimeter passes and a skin thickness of .8? should my skin thickness be a derivative of the number perimeter passes and the nozzle diameter?

That is a good question, I know the skin thickness controls the roof and floor thickness, bit the redundant walk thickness battles me as well
