So I’ve got an old thing-o-matic that I blew a driver out a couple months ago, and I was wondering if anyone has replaced the electronics with the RAMPS drivers.

Should be fine except that the temperature sensing is thermocouple not thermistor - so you will need to change your setup either at the board or the hotend.

Thanks, I just got done gutting the machines’ electronics. Mounted the Arduino & RAMPS, and now wiring on the new 4-pin connectors for the motors to plug into the RAMPS drivers. Already ran the Y-axis. Now I just need to find out the “steps per”.

I have spare ToM stepper driver boards to spare since I gutted my ToM to integrate it into the CNC.
