So, my Cupcake has had a few upgrades over the years. This one is probably the biggest.

The motherboard is original. But I’m just using it to turn on the power supply (also original) :slight_smile: The y stage carriage is original (on top of the makerslide carriage). That’s about it.

Newbie question. Why is the belt and axis so long if the bed is so small?

@James_Malenko the bed is so small just because I haven’t got a bigger one yet. This one existed so I used it to prove the concept. Also as a bit of a joke. I plan on putting a 200x200 heated bed on soon.

I didn’t realize this is an almost-Ordbot while not being one at all.

@Jeff_DeMaagd you are correct. It is based on http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:19297 “Mike’s ORDish Bot”, with liberal use of stock makerslide hardware and printed ordbot upgrade parts from thingiverse. I will try to clean up the bench and get some better pictures of it.

Yeah, the slides are all there and in the same configuration, but almost no other parts are the same. Neat though.
