So my son has really been enjoying the Sainsmart Flexible Filament Pokemon figures I printed him on the Talos3D Spartan. But a few days ago he asked me… “Who is the most powerful Pokemon”? I answered PokeMOM is the one who has the most power:)

He said that was not a “real thing”. So of course not one to be beaten by a five year old, I used meshmixer to make PokeMOM a real thing

I had the scans of my family that I did a while back using an Xbox 360 kinect sensor.

Also I finally got some real Ninjaflex (red cube in the pictures). And I will admit it is much softer than the Sainsmart stuff. Sainsmart must be much more like Semiflex than regular Ninjaflex. Right now I am getting pretty good results at around 30mm/s on the Ninjaflex. But with some tuning I should be able to speed that up some more.

I am also playing with Inland brand PETG on the Spartan (rebranded Esun PETG private labeled for microcenter). I am trying different infill configurations of the 3D printable fly fishing reel by @Michael_Hackney . I think I found one I like, now I need to find a cool color scheme.

The ninjaflex cube is tight!

its so weird … where can i download them ?

How does Mrs Lien feel about this? Awesome story btw.

@Louise_Driggers she’s a good sport… Otherwise she wouldn’t have lasted with me this long.

@william_foster sorry checked with the warden… And she put the kibosh on sharing her Poke"likeness" on the interwebs

@Nuker_Bot_NukerBot_3 thanks man. I will admit I am doing some retraction prints right now, and it is much more tricky with ninjaflex than the Sainsmart Flexible. I will get it dialed in eventually… But so far tonight its kicking my butt

@Nuker_Bot_NukerBot_3 this is the best I can muster so far. http://i.imgur.com/Mzxm69f.jpg

It looks pretty much perfect @Eclsnowman

Your freaking awesome! Lucky boys!
