So the extrusions came in for the #fuseboxCoreXY and I’ve got most of the parts printed so I’ve gone on with test fitting the frame with the printed parts. Went together fairly well, and highlighted a few tweaks that need to be done to the 2020 version parts. The Z carraige, you’ll notice the parts are different, the one that clamps the bearings is a modification to the original where cable (zip) ties were being used. The other side is currentky on the printer after a mishap inserting the bearings, although they’re going to need to be reprinted again as the extrusion is too tight in the mount. There were going to be more pictures but I got a little engrossed playing with adult meccano… I’ve also just realised, I have the idlers in upside-down, I’ll fix that l;ater…
