So, this is a serious question here.

So, this is a serious question here. Can anyone help me get a hold of @bre_pettis ? He backed the @deltamaker kickstarter, and we delivered everyone elses printers long ago. We put some additional work into his machine, and he’s the only one we haven’t been able to get a response from. We’ve sent out the survey stuff, we’ve actually called up MakerBot HQ, but don’t know if he has some sort of an agent or something that we’ve gotta go through in order to get shipping information for his machine.

I really want him to have this machine. We made sure to stamp extra deltamaker logos on every side of the box.

Can’t you ship it to mbi?

@Phil_Hord He doesn’t work there any more. That’s the official response we got from MakerBot.

Well, good for him. I hope he responds here.

I don’t know if that’s true or not though, could have just been some secretary trying to field calls.

He isn’t the CEO anymore. He’s moved on to other projects with in the much larger organization. I believe he’s been working on a movie with 3D printed characters. At least that is what was posted on Thingiverse before I stopped using it

LOL, you can send me his machine, I’ll put it to good use.

Isn’t he here?

Maybe the guy just can’t trust ANY box shipped to him these days =\

@kongorilla, thanks. I sent a webmail…thing…through their contact page.

You can also try his blog, I remember he had an agent contact listed there.

I could email/text him but there’s no guarantee he will respond. He told me at dinner once that he used to buy everything as a way to stay informed. But he doesn’t do that anymore. I bought a few things on kickstarter to stay informed but usually only b/c I wanted it. The only printer I bought and own is form labs. I won’t even build other printers unless I designed it. I was always scared I would let design ideas seep into my consciousness

All that said, Bre and I are not enemies, we are friends but I don’t want to overstate. From a ceo standpoint, we have a lot to talk about. I try to be friendly with everyone even when we don’t see eye to eye on all points.

I hope he gets your printer! He is still a fan of a lot of maker projects and even printers. I think he would enjoy building it!

@Brook_Drumm , DeltaMakers are all pre-assembled, no kits. It’s literally a working printer, to his doorstep. Not that he needs one, but if that’s the case, it would be cool to know so we can sell it.

The company he works for now is based at the old MakerBot factory. Maybe arrange for it to be delivered there?

I follow him on Instagram if you want that. He doesn’t get many comments or likes. But he has a lot of followers. And it’s for sure his real account.

I sent him a note via email
Brook

He wrote me back - I can pass along his email, but don’t want to publish it here even though its obvious.
write me at brook@printrbot…
peace,
Brook

well - he definitely needs a working printer nowadays with all the 5th gen madness.

@Brook_Drumm thanks for the simple metal - it’s simply working like a charm

Make sure nothing can be patented out of your delta  btw, nice stance from all of you!

@Brook_Drumm I sent you an email. I suspect that his reply is somewhere along the lines of “like I need another 3D printer, hah!”, that’s ok - I just wanted to give it a legitimate try before I rebox it for someone else.
