So this was strictly “just to see if it works”. I don’t have a full 48 pixel string on-hand (I have all my strings cut down to 32 pixels.) And the pixels are too far apart. So this weekend I will custom make a 48 pixel string that’s closely packed just so I can see how it looks.
Anyway, this is a 32 pixels WS2801 string trying to display data for 48 (so the upper 16 pixels are missing.) I grabbed my camera and just swung it in midair. When zoomed in, you can clearly see the PWM pulses. But, considering this was a strictly “does it work” test, I’m pretty happy.
