@Normand_Chamberland , for users of solid works, having the founder support something might not be an incentive to hop on board, lol. I use colorful words to comment on my solid works session on a semi hourly basis
@Eric_Moy but have you used ProE or any of the PTC applications? Words can’t describe how irritating that can be.
@Eric_Moy among long-time SW users Jon Hirschtick still has a good rep, as I understand it they believe he acted as a shield against Dassault Systèmes’ views after the sale and tried to keep the company true to its origins. It’s when he left that Dassault really took control with the results we know. Now of course that is all hearsay but I did read it from a few respected members of the SW community.
@Normand_Chamberland , good to know, honestly though, I curse any CAD software I’ve ever used… but SW definitely takes the cake
