SLA? Surface looks a bit rough. What printer?

@Adam_Steinmark an old PJ3500 with expired material and done in regular HD mode (instead of UHD cause its for the hell of it and the higher resolution takes longer to print)

I do not understand the point of making little human figures with a 3D printer.
Aren’t there any truly useful things that can be 3D printed ?
If so, why the toy crap ?

@Kent_Morrison Do you own a printer?
Judging from your comment I can tell you have a computer and you don’t only use it for “truly useful things”; so why should a 3D printer or any technology be used solely for what you deem useful. Maybe these were test prints that helped Reggie better understand the workings of his machine. We print some useful things and some stuff just for the hell of it. Who are you to critique what a 3D printer should be used for?

O Justiceiro ! manda bala!

@Kent_Morrison well, if nothing else it’s an interesting way to check your settings are dialled in.

First of all if you want i can print you a new attitude, i’m sure your friends would all think it was a “Truly useful” thing i could do with a 3d printer :D. Honestly, i could do a lot with this machine, but i would feel bad making money off of it. I work for a 3d printer manufacturer and i build and test field service replacement parts. Sure i could probably make a lot of money on the side making things for people at essentially no cost to myself, but that wouldn’t be exactly in line with my personal ethics. Plus, Keeping these types of printers running is tantamount to a over engineered super temperamental automobile, to keep it in good shape it needs to run constantly. So I print whatever I think looks fun and that means its art, so it is totally subjective whether its “truly useful” or not. @Kent_Morrison
