Making them usable by larger collettes?
Yes I use a lathe to cut down a 8mm stainless rod to 6.3mm then drill the other end with the bit I want to fit inside. For the 1st one i threaded and put grub screws so I can fit dremmel bits. The others are drilled the right size for the bit. I cut the bit shorter so then glue it in. I learnt the hard way for drilling speed as slow as possible on the makita and peck drilling
