‘Horilka’ is the name of a Ukranian vodka. Many argue it is the only good vodka that this country makes, with Poland being overall superior. Now, Horilka is most commonly sold with a chili pepper inside the bottle, and for good reason, because the name literally translates to “burning”. You may notice some similarities in the logo.
So, if you’ve read this far, there we have it: a story that has absolutely nothing to do with how Chilipeppr actually came about, but with just enough similarities to be interesting. Could make for a good Chilipeppr-branded vodka though. Happy April Fools Day!
