Someone have success to run the RepRapDiscount Full Graphic Smart Controller with Ramps-FD with or without the geeetech lcd adapter?
I have it working on mine, but my Full Graphic Smart Controller says Geeetech on it.
Got my GLCD on aliexpress as part of the RAMPS arduino kit, backlight turns on but nothing displays on the screen and no “contrast rectangles” no matter where the pot is turned.
Would be grateful for a solution, otherwise sticking with the 2004 standard lcds for now.
Note: just realized I’m talking about standard ramps not fd. Apologies for hijacking thread.

@Keith_Applegarth can you send me you firmware? probably I have some issue with the pinount.
Mine is an older version of marlin. You can get a more recent copy from git hub. Do a Google search for marlin firmware. I will share mine, though I don’t think it would help. Let me know if you still want mine. Did you watch the video. It really made mine go super easy.

You could upgrade. The Mega2560 I got for $13 and the Ramps 1.4 with drivers are under $17. Or just the Ramps for under $6.
The upgrade is Arduino due, very very fast speed compared to mega
