Someone is endorsing the Bunker @Kickstarter campaign using my name and a photo of Dr. Benedikt Helgason of @ETH_Zurich . Please spread the word and don’t believe the impersonator!

The things people do just surprise me. Glad it got deleted.
@Griffin_Paquette the comment is still up there, but the profile was deleted. Probably by the original author to hide his traces.
Holy shit. I’d be willing to bet it was either the kickstarter campaigners themselves, or – if they’re like practically every shady kickstarter out there – they’ve hired an agency and the agency is responsible.
Then again – I just looked at their kickstarter when I otherwise wouldn’t have. Maybe the long game is to get you to advertise for them?
That was my thought too @ThantiK has to be someone on the inside or someone who just really wants it funded???
@ThantiK it would be pretty horrible advertisement, but then again, any publicity is good publicity, right?
I can currently not speculate on the origin of the post, but i do obviously reserve the right to take legal action against the campaigners should it become necessary.
All backers become invested in the successful funding… distributed marketing to the lowest common denominator with no idea what one is going to get, might not be the greatest thing…
“Only backers can post comments.” = The fake Tom account must have had skin in the game
Faking your name does nothing for the social graph that is really the useful part of Kickstarter. Really silly of whoever did that to try…
Btw, @Thomas_Sanladerer , if you’re game, I’d like to send you a Tunell filament monitor…
He might have already been 2 levels into this, Pledged $1 then done this knowing it would have a damaging effect when it was inevitably found out.
Seems legit…
I’d take that as a compliment.
Mad push on the Facebook groups for this thing.
Whats with this bunker project? They got angus involved with it, and he is endorsing the hell out of it. Tom, you are the only youtube reviewers about 3d printing who got integrity.
I thought Angus wasn’t backing it unless this is something new
@Karan_Chaphekar agreed. Tom always makes it clear that his honest opinion is what’s gonna be on the review like back with the BQ Hephestos 2 review. Only 3D printing YouTuber I watch all the time.
Bunker is heavily promoting Angus’ video. I didn’t get a clear grasp of his case for it. I didn’t finish the video though. I didn’t really see how the presented use cases made much sense.
