Sometimes, it’s the simple things that make me happy. All 5 printers running at once…
Is the direct drive from the video on GitHub too? Couldn’t find or overlooked it.
@Daniel_Stauffer - The Drakon works in both DD and Bowden. There’s a generic mount on there. for DD too.
Ah great. Thank you! Got it forked and sent a pull request.
Ok random question. Idly watching a print is strangely hypnotic but I imagine watching a delta do it’s thing is much worse.
Is a delta running as hypnotising as I imagine it to be?
I’ve only had five printers running once, it’s a good feeling. (Only 3/8 of mine are working right now, lol)
@Ryan_Carlyle There’s always one that’s slightly janky. They seem to take it in turns. Currently it’s the Red/Black FB2020. The print that had started on that video had to be shifted on to another printer, so 4/5 are OK, which is a pretty good ratio
I tend to have 2-3 running daily depending on orders.
@Ax_Smith-Laffin is the drakon designed for a specific nozzle diameter other than 0.4mm ? Doesn’t look very well on the CB+ at some places it prints the walls but no infill. When this happens it is normally a sign that either the nozzle needs to be smaller or the wall thickness is below a divisor of 0.4mm.
I generally print with a 0.4, but there are thin walls, yes, however, I’ve not found it to be an issue.
Okay I’ll give it another try tomorrow then.
Ax…one question: is it possible to get the stl-file of the fans which you use on the 1st and 2nd printer in the Video? … In Moment i look for a new Design…it’s for 40mm fan, or?
By the way…crazy 5 printer!!!
I have a everyday a fight with only ONE!
Tbh when they’re set right it’s pretty much press print and walk away.
Interesting idea you could post the prints after ward. Then prove it’s the calibration of the printer. Then the only difference is the preference. That could also open an ugly can of worms, though.
@peter_rowser - most of them were sent out to customers yesterday. If you actually look back through my posts on here you’ll see the quality I’m getting, though.
