The blades are printed directly onto thick paper and then cutted out (the silver ones are completely BDP .3mm) . A mount for wooden skewers was printed on the paper aswell.
Nice gears. I like the visual design too. Are the blades based on a particular flower?
Thx! No there is no flower like this, at least i don’t know any whorls with 8 petals. Plants normaly using the golden angle with 137.5° for their pyhllotaxis. But you are right that the wider blades look like the projection of a bended petal - but i was just using the form that fits in the gap.
