Sorry @HypeCask & @Richard_Horne you have been pwned.

Some folks in Japan are building THE delta to rule all Deltas. Found it on Facebook shared by Shane from 3dPi.

More photos and details soon. Invited the creators here

Its already printed that guy a second set of arms!

@Mike_Miller , LOL. yeah, that looks like the mother of all Deltas

Holy mother of god. I can’t wait to see this thing working!!!

If I ever get to the point where I need a ladder to get up on my 3D printer, I’m either doing something really right, or really wrong!

Can you imagine dealing with an extruder jam!? You could climb up and use a jack hammer :wink:

tom yes wait is the word to remember, how long a print can take on this monster

@serge_fredette well - i don’t think they’ll use a 0.5 mm Nozzle

hope for them they don’t :wink:

4m-class 3D printer! Astounding!!

They could always use another delta as a precision tool mounted on their extruder…
Hmmm, recursive deltas…

Interesting

That’s just crazy!!! What kind of motors are driving this thing?

@kenneth_rooks I’m asking them

Kinda jealous tho, motivating me to round up funds for my delta

They just seem to bw getting bigger and bigger. @Joris_van_Tubergen

Wow! very nice job on that build. It looks like a real heavy beast. Should give some very nice prints.
