Sounds like Ultimaker follows Makerbot steps jumping into Education.

I watched a @element14_presents about NY makerfaire and Ultimaker had just few seconds in the show, “an European 3dprinter”, while Makerbot had a full speech about Digitizer advantages.

Yes, most of the times (sadly) it’s the marketing team who makes succeed a product and not the engineers and researchers.
And, most of the times, the budget is the marketing team leader.
