SPOOL FILAMENT DRYER BOX
As we know the filaments for 3D printers, apart standard PLA
(Although he is minimal take it also) are produced in hygroscopic polymers,
moisture sensible, see ABS, Polyamide, Polycarbonate, PET etc.
Although packed perfect, once opened the packaging, the
filament acquires the moisture, almost
all hygroscopic polymers in less than 4 hours reach moisture saturation.
We know that the prints last longer than four hours, then filament will be moisture saturated .
This dryer cassette allows to dry the filament before starting
printing and hold the wire dry during the FFF printing.
At the end of printing it will have the filament dried in ideal conditions to be
packed, sealed and kept for long time (in appropriate
suitable packaging).
The dryer cassette is equipped with:
- Heating apparatus
- Counts meters (useful to know how much I have left in the coil filament, writing meters on the spool before storage)
- Support surface with 5 holes for the hot air outlet where
could be supported printer
