Spool holder and vapor smoothed extruder made and tested so one step closer to printing

Spool holder and vapor smoothed extruder made and tested so one step closer to printing on my custom delta machine. #Smoothieboad made tuning childs play.

I’ve been following your delta build and look forward to seeing prints.

Shouldn’t be far away. Hot end was finished yesterday and is ready to wired in the Smoothieboard and tuned. Then just to cut the alloy plate for heated bed, and fit the heater once I find a supplier that doesn’t charge a fortune to ship to Australia. Getting excited though.

I would love to try out that extruder, I think it will fix the problems I am having. Could you share the model?

To save time and re-invneting the wheel I used the extruder from Infill 3D which can be found here http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:566791

Perfect, thanks!

Hello Brad!
Are you going to sell your printer as a kit or are you going to publish your plans so the rest of the 3d printer community can make your printer too? =)

Still haven’t made a decision on that one yet. Will see when it is all finished and running. Maybe a bit of both

Meant to add I am always paranoid of big business using the source files to make an easy profit off our hard work and research.
