Squishmap…

Doesn’t this tell you I need to shorten my delta_smooth_rod_offset just a smidge?

Length of the delta arms would have been my first guess. I suppose either one could cause it, but if you change the wrong one you’ll end up with a scaling issue.

oh, I already HAVE one of those! :slight_smile: It’s 7% fat in the ‘virtual X’ direction and about 9% fat in the ‘Virtual Y’ direction and about 15% skinny in the Virtual Z direction. My Weighted Companion cube has a body image problem.

its a frisbee

Nice print… What layer height? :stuck_out_tongue:

one. :smiley:

Ha ha ha!
I think it was actually “x” in this case :slight_smile:

Looks like a good challenge setting up a delta - I’m all comfortable in cartasian - would definitely put me out of my comfort zone :wink:

@Mike_Miller when the first perfect object is printed we will all be celebrating with you :slight_smile: Enjoying your posts, way behind you on production, we can only aspire to today’s post.

I’m holding out hope that all my problems are the PLA…I get that new spool, and the prints don’t just suddenly appear…I’ll have to turn to the bottle.

3dr guy here as well. Keep playing with it until it works is all I can tell you. I’ve been up and down then up then down and back up so many time.

Currently I can print a 25x25x25 calibration cube that is 25.4x25.3x25 that is only slightly rhombus so I’m happy…ish.

I hope I can find someone local to print an ABS extruder assembly for the Ingentis…I think I’ll be able to print everything else on the Delta, but I don’t see the point on investing the additional sweat in getting a heated bed for it.

Keep at it. It took me a few months to get my 3DR dialed in.

@Wes_Brown Well done Wes :slight_smile:
