ok works, great! orange green and blue … thanks!
understand and theoretically i would need 3 sliders to get more colors?
black would be also nice there? otherwise i would make a if and set color:black at a special parameter

@Stef_Weicks yes you can make two other sliders to make vary the other parameters the one I put at 128
They all should be from 0 to 255.
You can read about HSV colors to better understand how hsv color works
@Stef_Weicks the parameter I lake you change changes the base color second one saturation and value (if you put value at zero it will go black) full staturaion and full value will give you white.
I suggest you play with the three sliders
yes i am doing at the moment
thanx
@Stef_Weicks in all functions it should be
CRGB c=CHSV(color,saturation,value);
matrix->setTextColor(matrix->Color(c.r, c.g, c.b));
CRGB c=CHSV(color,saturation,value);
yes … but if i set color 0 it is not black … its red…
i am reading … in the web … but black is not really understandable…
in crgb:black isnt this similar with hsv?
@Stef_Weicks to have black you need to move the last parameter to 0
ha … yes i tried it this moment
@Stef_Weicks but all the colors will be black
of course … at the moment i did CRGB c=CHSV(color*128,255,color);
so i can adjust the colors too… or do you have a better idea?
I know the projects will never find a end … but for today for me its enough
… thanks for helping. The next few days I’ll play around with this and make some videos! and than i upload the cods on github
@Stef_Weicks you really need to the 3 sliders to cover all the range of colors
You cannot escape that
Like each color is a mix of red green blue
Each color can be represented as HSV but you need to have the three of them
@Stef_Weicks instead of manipulating HSV color space you could manipulate RGB space but HSV space is easier
@Stef_Weicks hello
Did you manage your code for full color ?
hey … the last 2 days i was busy renovating my apartment…neither I have had time to turn on the picture.
for now … red green blue and black is ok for me…
Do you already know how it would be possible? I probably have a totally awkward method in my mind…make crgb areas … which are crossed with a slider
@Stef_Weicks that is cool too !!!
In web of course if you look at color picker you’ll find plenty of examples.
In that video you can see one I used
i thought there will be some examples in the web …
because of renovating unfortunately i didnt had time for this.
did you want to sent a link?
thanx! i will do it soon
now i did a static ip… and it works!!!
i have had to put WiFi.mode(WIFI_STA); in front of the WiFi.config
@Stef_Weicks cool !!
Thank for the tip
do you know what to do to get the matrixclock one pixel from the side to the right and one from the top side down.
do i have to define an extra pixel array for the clock?
