Steppers are working but i cant get my laser to work

Todd,
You have to be clear about exactly what you are changing, seeing and testing if we are to help.
What is your current configuration and conditions is it not working.

I apologize, if you would please tell me exactly what you need for me to get you and I will get it for you. I will do my best at least.

Have you switched to my configuration including the connection to L?

There shouldn’t be anything in my blog post that stops the motors from working.
Did you change anything else other than the connection to L?

Per the drawing, you do not have anything connected to LPS-IN.
You need to reinstall the POT or connect IN to 5V.

Where does the other side of the lid switch go to?

What are the items in the upper right (circled), it’s hard to read.

Please post a new picture of the smoothie showing the connector with L and Grnd

What software are you using to drive the smoothie?

Yes I have switched to your configuration file, and I hooked up the L like you have in the picture. The other side of lid switch goes to p on lps. The items in the upper right hand corner is a power dial/POT for the laser it came with power supply IT HOOKS up via Ethernet cable at the p and L socket. I’m using light burn as software.

Todd,
Please check that you answer all the questions. These answers will help narrow down your problem.

I see the side of the switch that goes to the LPS I want to know where the other side goes.

Can you post a picture of this dial/pot and its connections I am not familiar with it?

Do you mean the same P & L that the switch and smoothie are connected? Nothing should be connected to L other than the smoothie PWM and nothing on P other than the lid switch.
