TLDR; works for welding, not smoothing.

I love your videos Tom, and have learned a ton over the years by watching them. I’m a bit concerned about the use of a heat gun to warm the paint can though. Explosive acetone fumes and glowing heating elements don’t mix. I’m sure you know Acetone fumes are heavier than air and should stay in the can, but not something I’d want to be trying myself :wink:

How PLA reacts to acetone depends greatly on the blend. It varies a lot.
