Surfacing my cnc table with 10000mm/min.
What size bit were you using?
10mm 4 flute carbide at 10000rpm
How far over are you moving each pass? It kind of looks like there are minor ridges when you are done with a pass. I think moving over by 1/3 the bit size would be a good idea. I think you might be moving 7mm each pass.
You are right. But the ridges are easily sanded down with a light touch. The gain in speed was prioritised. But thanks.

Why didn’t you go the other way? I would think it’d be moving the lightest part of the machine and you wouldn’t need as many stopovers, time lost to accelerate etc.
True @Paul_Shaw , but the reason here is that i use a simple surfacing code generator that obviously prioritise by x y rather than by longest x or y.
