Taulman 618 and @Eclsnowman 's v4 carriage are made for each other. There’s some minor warpage that can be overcome with a brim, but printing in uncleaned blue tape with a cold bed, the results are astounding, slightly flexible, and STRONG.
Btw, I had a failed print of a 618 iPhone case…this stuff appears identical to certain kinds of cutting boards. Flexible and cut resistant. Print your own kitchen utensils!

This reminds me that I’ve been sitting on an unassembled Trinity Magma hot end for over a year (I don’t think they even make them anymore) and a spool of Taulman 618 nylon I bought about the same time. Achievement Unlocked: UberProcrastinator.

I have my ox build half complete for almost a year now :(. I need a me that works and another me that build these. I enjoy work as much as playing so it’s a win win situation.
