Thank you all for the help getting PetG to stick to the bed… Now I need to figure out how to keep the filament to from getting stuck on my nozzle and ruining the print when a glob adhears to a layer causing a print failure

You may also experiment with your extrusion multiplier. I’ve found that I can go as low as 95% with PETG.
Which nozzle do you use? E3dv6 with sock might work.
On the plus side 1st ever benchy with actual smoke from the chimney.
Worked out OK for me when i used a 1mm z-hop.

you are overextruding. PETG doesnt forgive the slightest overextrusion.
I was planning to upgrade to the sock and hoping it would fix my issues. But I will also take a look at my extrusion settings. Thanks for the tips.
Dont do singlewall test for extrusion. Do solid infill/toplayertrst. Toplayer should look like this:
