Thanks to a slim new PSU my i2 is now totally portable, just add power and netbook. It’s also very heavy.
Next job is to re-wire the whole thing using mechanical endstops and much much thinner wire. Probably fit a plug to the extruder umbilical too.

add a raspberry pi as a print controller, it’ll be a bit less weight to carry

HAH! This is a lot like how I had mine set up. very nice work. And yeah, they can get awfully heavy. I was lucky because I have a SSR-powered heatbed, so I didn’t have the 10A current draw to deal with, allowing me a much smaller power supply. I’m loving the way you did the filament spool mount - something mine lacked.
