That itty bitty white square to the right of the GPIO? Wifi without a huge dongle hanging off the end.

Nightly build of octoprint…install was painless, camera is working, file uploads are SERIOUSLY snappy.

Original Pi B running Octoprint had one thread running at 80-95% utilization, the Pi 3 has two of the threads boppin along at about 15%

Still only $35 USD. Thank god for Moore’s Law.

Huge black dongle in my case haha

more like That itty bitty white square to the right of the GPIO? useless wifi that’s dog slow even when it’s 6 feet away from my router.

Seriously, I don’t know if mine is bung but the built in wifi is utterly useless.

I haven’t looked at the signal strength, but the Wifi base station is on the floor below me (about 15 feet, as the crow flies) and can’t complain…other than it’s 2.5 Ghz and I can’t tell if it’s 802.11b, g, or what.

You didn’t need a Pi 3 for that.

google for wifi and pi3 and prepare for all the rage you are going to find  atm the wifi sucks… hope they fix that

It’s FAR from the best radio I’ve seen, but it’s adequate for my needs:
