That moment when you have perfectly working custom giant machine. Priceless.

That moment when you have perfectly working custom giant machine. Priceless. COREXY All made with OpenBuilds ( @Mark_Carew_OpenBuild ) > Credit goes to Carl Feniak http://www.openbuilds.com/builds/c-bot.1146/

Congrats on the build.

+Peter van der Walt 4 kids. I have been teached how not to sleep

This is called a 3D Printer !!

@Ariel_Yahni_UniKpty how much did this build cost you total? Also what size prints can you manage?

I love the Z axis…!!!

@Matthew_Lord_Drachen this build could be around 800 - 1000. Bed size is 12x12 and Z is almost 24"

I made the structure so I could one day squish a 16" bed

I was thinking you could certainly fit a bigger bed. It was tough to tell the size, 12x12 isn’t bad at all. having any issues with the long screws?

@Jarrid_Kerns Yes. Look at my other post https://plus.google.com/+ArielYahni/posts/ipwXF1xutKV

+Peter van der Walt I have 2x600 and one x800mm silicon beds… but I’m in Spain…!!
Also two lead-screws wont hold the weight

How much play do you have with the lead screws not connected on top. Seams like it would have a lot of swing in it

@Grady_Parker in the contrary connecting them at the top will constrain them and cause problems. usually with Z banding.

@Michael_Scholtz what would you suggest?

@Michael_Scholtz due to vibration?
