That thing that doesn’t belong. Everyone has one, or a few. Currently, Darwin is being used as both an anchor weight for my coat hanger spool holder and a tie point for my filament tube while I develop and print a spool holder. Anyone else have any non-standard “parts” they use?
I have a spool holder that is made of jumbo plastic meccano pieces, it was standalone for a while, until I realized that the holes are roughly 8mm so I modified it to sit over my prusa i2. I might post a pic in a bit.
I have curtain rod wired to the suspended ceiling frame with a bit of PVC and a juice bottle for a coiled filament spool.
