The breadboard version of the current version of my led staffs, with gesture driven “buttonless” interface. This keeps water and dirt out, as the whole thing is in a gasket sealed tube

Pretty neat. I wanted to try that with the ADXL345 but I got side tracked doing other stuff. Which sensor are you using?

Adxl345, the same one. Board has that and an itg3200 gyro and a hmc5883l magnetometer. I had a board that had MPU 6050 and the HMC 5883L but ended up buying and making a mistake on all express and ended up with the 80 XL

I have an LSM9DS0 from SFE that I’m going to play with. It’s a single 9DOF IC that also has single and double-click detection. Should be fun to play with. I just haven’t had a chance yet.

Correction: I made time to play with it … just now. Accel, Gyro, Mag … all working. Click/Double-Click aren’t configured in the library so I’ll have to do that myself. Still, it’s a fun little IC, 4x4mm with a few capacitors. Plenty of room for something like that.

I forgot it also needs to be paired with a TXS0104 open-drain/push-pull IC, though that too is relatively small at 4x8mm.

I wish you guys would stop showing off these cool things, you’re killing me.

It’s a trap Adam. We’re just luring you to it.

It’s working @Ashley_M_Kirchner_No trust me

@Ashley_M_Kirchner_No you only need the TXS0104 if you’re running a 5V level device, with a 3.3V level device, like the teensy3, no worries. But you’re going the fully integrated route where I’m going a slightly different route.

Exactly, I run my uC at 5V. The LSM9DS0 is a 3.3V device.
