the essential survival kit

Hi there fellow 3d Printing Enthusiasts. Hope you’re all doing wonderful.
So - a while ago (2012) @Nicholas_Wang asked the following question:

“What models would you need for a 3dPrinter with no Internet Connection”

In spirit of this question i’d like to start a Contest, running for one month. (Will work on some prizes too)

What models/tools/cad Files are “the Essentials”?

If you are stranded on a lone island, only your 3dPrinter in a Box and some filament, what would you need to get started?

This whole contest has a serious background (that @Bilal_Ghalib1 can explain in a few days, hopefully ^^) - my inspiration was that a friend of mine added the whole Project Gutenberg to his PirateBox and i’ve asked him: Why not adding other useful stuff to the Box. Like the whole Wikipedia, the whole Instructables and a set of Tools as STL Files.

Now i do realize that the whole of Instructables might be a bit to much, but i still would love to have at least parts of it on a Box that i can spread to areas where you normally don’t have access to the Internet.

The OSE plans for example would make sense.

So - let’s go. Let’s make the world a better place!

I’m very interested in this subject as well. My approach is more indirect (caching designs based on their consumption as opposed to deliberate choices) but the end goal is the same.

I’m all in on this topic as well. Practical use items / generating tools to help in everyday life are a topic that inspired me and are very high on my list for 3d printing. I’ll do my best to contribute something of value here…already started months ago with my very first design not named @BotBQ !
