@Greg_Heinz any of the addressable ones are a good place to start, WS2812 (Adafruit Neopixel) or APA102 (Adafruit DotStar). The Neopixels have a bunch of fun tutorials to get you started. https://learn.adafruit.com/search?q=neopixels
