I don’t want to sound mean, but using Android is a terrible idea for a printer. Even using the Linux kernel is a terrible idea, as there can be interuptions in the process that would cause the print to easily fail. If it were just a front end for the actual main board (like say, Android as a UI for configuring, loading files to print, and giving status updates, but a barebones firmware like Repetier or Marlin for actually printing), then that would be alright. However, there aren’t details on whether this is what they went with or not.
