is your MakerSelect loud? looks like a v2 same as mine, and mine is loud in a weird sing song mechanical way, not grinding noise it’s like Daft Punk when they were just learning to make music or something. Random electronica sounding stuff.
What’s the blue coming from on your toolhead?
I don’t like concept of mounting the spool from the top of the i3, it puts torsional stress and vibrations into the frame which can feedback into the print. The original triangular steel prusa design was better at absorbing vibration. The i3 design is refined for slimplicity and easier manufacture.
Cohesion3D Mini board with TMC2208 stepper drivers. The only thing I hear is the fans now.

The filament is no longer mounted to the top of the frame, the holder is screwed to the “ceiling”.
