The isoled finally is a IOT thing. I changed the Arduino for a Particle Photon microcontroller. Color palettes can now be changed remotly by a web app, both local and remote and potential owners can get remote firmware/feature updates. Initially had some difficulties getting the ws2801’s running on the photon (had to omit the COLOR_ORDER in the FastLED.addLeds line) and had to reorder a lot of code but got it working :slight_smile:

thnkz , ZHIPS e.g high impact polystyrene, one of the proprietary filaments of my zortrax 3d printer. but before that I mda a paper version which also worked nice. see: http://bertsimons.nl/portfolio/WIP/isoled/

Great addition to the Isoled! Well done! I made a variant of your paper based Isoled a couple of years ago that has gotten badly dented and plan on making a new version made with laser cut polypropylene material (i.e. plotter media) running on a NodeMCU (or similar) with 3xWS2811 LEDs per pixel, when time finally allows.
