The Menger obsession continues with third-order (or level-3) versions, now collected into a single parametric/customizable OpenSCAD script. I’ve printed both the cut and supported versions, though neither print was entirely satisfactory. The cut cube suffered from overfilling in the smallest areas, and the supported cube was just too small for the level of detail, at least on our printer. Tonight’s print is a larger supported cube, with no infill and two perimeters to see whether it will stay crisper that way; so far, it looks promising.
