The #DrakonExtruder on the #AX-03-Railgun in direct drive setup. Looking forward to getting this running to see how the Drakon performs in Direct Drive.
Is this a 3d printed version of the BMG? Looks awesome!
@Kyle1 , aye as Alex says it’s my design. I have both FDM printed and SLS printed versions. The Drakon is similar to both the BMG and the Titan with a 3:1 gear reduction, but with the ability to choose your Hobb and swap and change the Gears for SLS versions. It can use pretty much any Hobb with a MK8 like a standard MK8 Drive gear or a E3D HobbGoblin. As with the BMG and Titan, it can run in both Bowden and Direct Drive. It’s currently only set up for 1.75mm filament, but I’ll have a 3mm version available soon. Oh and it’s fully Open Source.
